SCHEDULE

The League made some significant changes to the order in which categories will race this weekend. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE UPDATED DRIFTLESS SCHEDULE SO YOU ARRIVE ON TIME (Ultimately, we'd love for you to be there all day to cheer on your teammates!)


PARKING

Please also recall that parking will be TIGHT, so if the main lot at the venue is full, you'll be directed to park at headquarters and ride a shuttle over to the race venue. Allow an extra 45 minutes JUST IN CASE. 


COACHES

Given the changes to the schedule & the number of athletes racing (close to 70 for Driftless and over 1200 overall!), there have been modifications to the Driftless Coach sign-up sheet. PLEASE CHECK THE SHEET, AS YOUR VOLUNTEER TIMES MAY HAVE CHANGED; THERE HAVE ALSO BEEN NEW CATEGORIES ADDED.

We hope this is the final version, but if you're a "print a hard copy and bring it with you" kinda guy/gal, I would highly recommend WAITING until Saturday to print...just in case the league needs to make further revisions.

If your name is on our schedule and you know for a fact you won't be there, please let Christa know so she can remove your name, and so we're not looking frantically for you on race day! Likewise, if it's race day and something comes up such that you're not able to make it (HUGE BUMMER!), please let your head coach or team director know (again, so we're not frantically looking for you). A quick text should do the trick!


BE READY FOR YOUR RACE

This will be our BUSIEST EVENT YET. Please make sure you're ready on race day with:

  • Your race plate on your bike and your back

  • Hydration full and ready to go

  • Air in your tires (tubeless folks - are you good on sealant? check now if you're not sure, don't wait until this weekend!)

  • Chain is clean & lubed

  • Helmet/gloves ready to go

  • ABCDE bike check completed

  • Make sure you're properly hydrated and that you've had proper nutrition both Saturday and Sunday! 

Basically, be ready to rock & roll (sorry for the old-school lingo!) when it's time for your warm-ups to begin!
