PRACTICE PLANS/LOCATIONS (CHECK TEAM SNAP FOR LOCATIONS/DETAILS)
Tues. 8/29 is trail work day. Middleton is in Cross Plains; Waunakee is at Middleton Bike Park, and Mt. Horeb is at Blue Mound State Park. Everyone should bring work gloves, bug spray, hydration and closed-toe shoes! **MIDDLETON FOLKS - Please also bring loppers, hand saws, shovels & rakes if you have them! Middleton will be meeting at the Latitude Graphics parking lot — we’ll have just a very short walk to the trailhead.
Thurs. 8/31 - We’re at Blackhawk for a Relay Race @ the East Chalet. Only those who have indicated their availability in TeamSnap will be allowed to participate on a relay team. We welcome and encourage all others who are available to come cheer on your teammates!
Tues. 9/5 - Practice times bump up to 5:30-7:30 for the rest of the season, starting 9/5. ***Bring a good, secure, charged bike light!*** Ask a coach if you have any questions about lights.
Thurs. 9/7 - Team picture night! **Arrive on time!** We have LOTS of athletes and it gets dark relatively early. If we wait for late arrivals, we lose the daylight needed for pictures. We respectfully request that you please arrive on time. Please wear your team practice shirt (the gray one)!
Our practice venues can’t be beat!

The Wisconsin League is seeking performers for the National Anthem at all races this season as a way to showcase their talents. Performers can include soloists or ensembles and vocal, instrumental, or a combination. We welcome those who can provide a thoughtful performance including school groups, athletes, coaches, even family members to participate. To sign up, please use this link!

BORAH RACE KITS
Have you received yours yet? We’ve been advised there are several teams who have not yet received their race kits. The WI League is working with Borah to do everything they can to get the kits delivered on time for the first race. **If you have not yet received your kit from Borah, please email me (Christa) so I can pass along this information.** Thank you!
RACE/EVENT WEEKEND #1 - TELEMARK - CABLE, WI
We ask those who are attending to please consider helping out by signing up to bring healthy snacks and supplies needed at Race/Event Weekends. We appreciate your help!
Volunteer Sign-up through the WI League is also open for Race #1 at Telemark - Cable, WI. Please use this link to see available sign-ups. As in the past, host teams are responsible for filling the greater part of the volunteer roles (Driftless MTB is NOT a host for this location - we are hosting for the Englewood Farm race.) With that said, the League welcomes volunteers from all teams for any race. Some of the exciting sign-up options you will see are; stationary course marshal, where you have the opportunity to cheer on the student-athletes along the course. Number caller where you are in the action as athletes zoom by. Course set-up where you get to be hands-on in creating the fun courses that the student-athletes get to race, and so much more. Volunteers can be coaches, non-coach parents, grandparents, family friends, etc. PLEASE NOTE: A Participant Agreement/Release of liability waiver will be required. Please do this prior to coming, this will help speed up the check-in process at the volunteer tent.
