Registration is now OPEN for the 2023 Driftless MTB season! Riders from Middleton, Cross Plains, Waunakee, and Mount Horeb can sign up to participate in this year’s NICA season!

All - it’s August which means we’re riding trails and getting psyched for races! Please read our entire update for important news that you need to know for our teams.

NEWS UPDATE SUMMARY:

Families - we’re at the point in the season where we will begin to transition from skills-only practices to trail riding practices. This means there are a few updates you need to know so that your rider is ready for singletrack (dirt trails)! Here’s an overview of what’s included in this week’s news:

• Please attend the virtual parent meeting tonight at 7:30 if you have not been able to attend an in-person meeting after practice

• Bikes need to be in trail-worthy condition or riders may not be able to participate

• MIDDLETON/WAUNAKEE: Practice locations will change - see parking/drop off info for CXC location!

• WAUNAKEE athletes have an update regarding forms (ALL athletes, not just middle school) - these are due this week, no exceptions, or the school district will not permit athletes to participate.

• Reminder: attendance requirements & rider agreement for Driftless MTB team athletes

Week 2 - time sensitive updates about team kit orders, parent meetings, an adventure ride, and GRiT events!

We are less than a week out from our first official practice of 2022! As we prep for our biggest season ever, we wanted to send a quick to-do list for the start of the season, as well as an update on our 2022 team kit (uniform) order.

The purpose of this first 2022 season update is three-fold: to provide event dates & updated calendar info, answer last-minute registration questions, and invite you to join us for an info session THIS WEEK to learn about volunteering/riding along with our team as a coach!
